Why we need Navigation system , that mean why we put this thing into our vehicle, the simple answer ” because we hate lost, lost is mean wasting time, and not good for our pocket for buy extra gasoline” , i was found this article Hybrid Sales , not every new car with new technology give us navigation GPS system in standard specification.

The simplest kind of auto navigation GPS system is a removable gadget that stores the map data internally, and uses a satellite signal to pinpoint the position of the unit. Many new models actually integrate the GPS into the dashboard, while non fixed systems can either be mounted on the dash, or attached to the windshield using a suction cup.

Some GPS PDAs can have a GPS module plugged in to them, and used in cars, and an increasing number of cell phones have GPS as a standard feature.

• Decide how often you intend to use the system.
• Consider the layout of your car. Some systems come with a monitor that displays a map.
• Select a system that features multiple ways of getting to your destination.
• Try to find a system that gives you, the systems that use a map and monitor include arrows that show you the direction .Other systems use the head unit or radio to display the name of the street.
• Select a system that includes point of interest data. Most GPS systems include locations of airports and other services, like restaurants, hotels, ATMs and banks and a host of other sites.
• Choose a system that offers updates of the point-of-interest data.
